Nissan Group reports fourth-quarter 2022 and calendar year 2022 Canadian sales

Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan Group announced total Canadian fourth quarter (October-December) sales for the calendar year 2022 of 16,638 units, a decrease of 11.4 percent versus the prior year.

The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,148 vehicles sold in the fourth quarter, an increase of 24.2 percent versus the prior year.

Nissan Group also announced total calendar year 2022 Canadian sales of 78,410 units, a decrease of -20.3% compared to the prior year.

Nissan Division fourth-quarter 2022 highlights:

• The Nissan Rogue sold 5,729 units in the fourth quarter, an increase of 28.1 percent versus the prior year
• The Nissan Sentra sold 1,419 units in the fourth quarter, bringing the year-to-date increase to 12.4 percent versus the prior year
• The Nissan Pathfinder SUV sold 1,455 units in the fourth quarter, an increase of a 112.1 percent versus 2021
• The Nissan LEAF™ sold 425 units in the fourth quarter, an increase of 41.7 percent versus the previous year

INFINITI fourth-quarter 2022 highlights:

• The QX60 luxury crossover sold 778 units in the fourth quarter, an increase of 263.6 percent versus the prior year
• The INFINITI Truck division saw 1,352 units sold in the fourth quarter, an increase of 37.4 percent versus 2021

Nissan Division 2022 year-end highlights:

• The Nissan Frontier sold 5,075 units in the calendar year, an increase of 196.1 percent versus the previous year
• The Nissan Pathfinder not only had a strong 4th quarter but also reported total calendar year sales of 4,776 units an overall increase of 47.3 percent versus 2021
• Nissan Altima reported total calendar year sales of 1,828 units an overall increase of 50.1 percent versus 2021
• The Nissan LEAF™ finished with a strong 4th quarter and a total calendar year sale of 1,542 units, an overall increase of 26 percent versus the previous year

INFINITI 2022 year-end highlights:

• The QX60 sold 2,217 units in the calendar year, an increase of 113.2 percent versus 2021
• The QX55 crossover reported a 2022 total calendar year sale of 728 units, an overall increase of 50.4 percent versus sales in 2021
